Frequently Asked Questions

Your package includes the katana(s), carefully packed to ensure safe transport. If you selected the option, a certificate of authenticity (+$8 CAD) will also be included. In addition, a Japanese fabric bag worth $25 CAD is offered with every katana purchase. You also have the option to add accessories such as a display stand, cleaning kit, or premium storage box to enhance your collection.

Each katana is crafted only after your order is placed. We never mass-produce or keep pre-made swords in stock. Once your purchase is confirmed, our craftsmen begin forging your katana specifically for you. Every piece is hand-forged following traditional Japanese techniques, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and strict quality control at every stage.

By avoiding long-term storage, we preserve the integrity of the materials, prevent oxidation caused by prolonged warehousing, and ensure that you receive a freshly forged, authentic, and one-of-a-kind katana. After production, katanas are shipped from China, allowing us to offer an optimal balance between reasonable delivery times and controlled costs.

Each katana available on our store is handcrafted with great attention to detail. Preparation time varies depending on the complexity of the model and the availability of specific materials. Once your order is confirmed, we typically estimate a preparation time of 3 to 10 days.

Delivery time depends on several factors, including the carrier selected, possible customs checks (due to the nature of the product), and your final destination. On average, delivery takes 5 to 15 days after the item is shipped.

Please note that exceptional circumstances such as high demand or logistical delays may extend these timelines. While we strive to provide fast and efficient delivery, it is not possible to guarantee an exact arrival date.

All of our swords are crafted with a full tang blade design. Each blade is carefully forged so that the steel extends through the entire length of the handle. This construction greatly enhances strength, balance, and durability, while staying true to traditional Japanese swordmaking craftsmanship.

Due to the special nature of our katanas, we use shipping methods specifically chosen to ensure a fast and secure delivery, while minimizing the risk of delays at customs. We typically ship via UPS, a trusted and reliable service. If UPS is not available for your region, we work with our secondary partner, SF Express, to ensure your order arrives in the best possible conditions.

Our team takes great care during the shipping process to minimize the risk of customs fees. In the vast majority of cases, customers do not incur any additional charges. We work closely with our logistics partners to ensure each package is prepared and labeled carefully to help avoid unnecessary delays or duties.

That said, in very rare circumstances, customs authorities may apply import fees based on your country’s specific regulations. Should this occur, please note that any such fees are the buyer’s responsibility, as stated in our Disclaimer. Rest assured, we do everything possible to guarantee a smooth, fast, and cost-efficient delivery experience.

No, it is not illegal to buy a katana in Canada. Katanas are not considered prohibited or restricted weapons under the Canadian Criminal Code. It should be transported in a closed case and not displayed publicly. Typically, purchase is limited to individuals 18 years or older.

We completely understand that many customers would like to see and handle a katana before making a purchase — this is entirely reasonable. However, at this time, we do not operate a physical retail store.

That said, we take great care to provide detailed photos, accurate descriptions, and all the essential information needed to shop with confidence. Even at a distance, product quality remains our absolute priority.
